Subject: TOURSIT VISA REFUSED
Hello,

My Boyfriend was just refused his tourist visa from Grenada to Canada. What are some of the reasons he could be refused? He does not have a criminal record. Also how long does he have to wait to re-apply????

Your input is appreciated.

Kaya

Hey kaya, just a few things he should be sure of before he gives it another shot: Does he show that he has strong ties to his country? Cuz, if he doesn´t have a steady bank account or if you guys don´t have any loans or mortgages paying, this could affect his chances. Cuz, you see, the Canadians are trying to prevent illegal immigrants,(which is impossible, but, they try), If he has a mortgage, he should walk with those papers to show that he is tied to Grenada and that he will not stay illegally in canada, also, he should have a secure job. Most people dont go with job letters and because of that, they don´t get through. Is he on contract? Is his contract ending anytime soon? They take those into account also. And, his reason for travelling. The one that worked for me when i went for my US visitor visa was that i wanted to see what the states was like, i have family up there and wanted to spend some time with them and wanted to shop and site-see. That worked. If you have any more questions, just ask, we´re here to help you.

Hi Shane

Thank you for your response. Honestly, there is no mortgage or loans and there is not LOTS of loot in his bank account. I am not sure what grounds he applied on as we were going to send him a letter of invitation. His Brother lives here and he would like for him to come up and visit with him and his family aswell...actually one of his son will be getting confirmed in the catholic church and if he is the godfather, would that not boost his chance????

He applied without us knowing so we did not get a chance to send him a letter of invite. Are there any other things we can send on our end to make it easier?? like job statements??

What if i were married to him. Would that make it any easier??

Thanks again,

Kaya
