I have 2001 Nissan Sentra and planning to import it to Canada when I move next month from the US. I have already landed couple of months ago but unfortunately did not add the car in goods to follow list.
- How much taxes do i need to pay at border ? I have already paid off my car payments and have the title with me.
- How and when do i need to register the car in Canada.
I am planning to drive from US to Toronto.

If it wasn´t in your goods to follow list then it will be like a purchased car with all GST/HST attached. You will need No Recalls letter from the manufacturer, special form for US Customs and title, and invoice faxed to US Border point 72 hours in advance.
