Hi:
We(Me my husband and our daughter(US citizen)) landed Canada (Toronto) on May 31 2006. We finished all the necessary works and have returned to the USA. We have given a Canada address for PR card. Now we have received a letter asking us to appear for a photo appointment for our daughter in Toronto. The letter say that our daughter´s photo does not match their requirement.
Is there any way we can take care of this from USA. We are in Los angeles right now.

I suggest you call or e-mail the concerned Canadian Consulate and explain the situation. Since you are in Los Angeles, you can even suggest you can give them a "photo appointment" there, if your daugther is with you. The best way is to communicate with them. Your medical forms and all other documents must have their phone/fax numbers and e-mail ids.
That´s the best way, as far as I know.

You can go to the Can Consulate in LA and talk to someone in person... It could possibly solve the problem faster than trying to reach them by fax and such...

I am also in same position. I landed on 15 may and now they said pictures of all of us (4 members) are not as per requirements. I am in kuwait. Faild to understand how the picutres they themselves have taken are not as per their specs????? Anyway let me know what shall i do now?
