Subject: to NY transferees,
  Hi there,
I sent my passport for the visa and COPR papers to NY. They recd the package on june 30th. I havent received them back yet. Has anybody had any previous experience experience with NY regarding mailing your PP to get the visa. Do you know how long it took for you.

thanks.

Hi anony,

I am in almost same boat with you. I sent my passport and pictures to NY and it arrived there on June 29th. I also haven´t received yet.
But my E-cas had changed to "Decision Made" on July 10th.
Now I am expecting my passport back within this week. I am living in Ontario, Canada. How about your E-Cas?
I did NOT send returning envelope because there was no option for in Canada living people. So little bit worry about it.

Good Luck and please update for your situation.

Cheers!!!

DAD

Hi DAD,
I am in-canada too and my ecas changed to decision made on July 10. My PPR letter was dated June 20 and I recd that letter on June 27. As you can see, it took 3 weeks for my ecas to change to decision made after the PPR letter was written. I am expecting my passport this week too...maybe they have already sent it. Probably Its the mail that takes long, since it is sent by registered post to people living in Canada. Where are you planning to land?

Hey Anony,

I will land through 1000 islands bridge as soon as possible.
Because I am living in Kingston. Keep post after getting passport. See you around!

Hi Guys, I got email from NY saying that my PPR has been sent to me on July 13th. Did you guys enclose a return prepaid envolope when you sent the passport to NY? I am in Canada too, on their webiste it says they won´t use courier to mail the passport back. Does it mean they won´t accept a fedex prepaid envolope? Thank you!
