Subject: Updates from Brian
  I finally received my PPR.

The whole process took exactly 18 months to complete.

Applied : Jan 2005
IELTS : Oct 2005
File Transfer : Jan 2006 to NY
IA : Feb 2006
Medicals : March 2006
Documents : Apr 2006
PPR : July 2006

I think the fast processing resulted from:

1) 7.5 score in IELTS
2) Submitted notorized copies of W2(even though they did not ask for it)
3) The best think :MY FILE GOT TRANSFERRED TO NY

Good luck to you all. I will be active on this formum to be of any help.

Brian

Hey Brian, congrats!

Just a question- when they send PPR what are the documents they ask for? I just want to get ready so that we will have our passports ready to send when they ask for it. Can you please let me know their photo requirement? how many and what size?
Thanks a lot

Brian,

Did you submit proof of funds at the beginning of your application? If so, then when they asked for proof of funds (along with medicals), that was the second time you submitted prof of funds, correct? Please let us know...

Thanks and good luck!

Anonymous,
Proof of funds from what I´ve read are asked twice in the process. I have also been asked to submit the proof of funds again after my IA and some additional documentation. They want to find out if your situation has not changed since you last applied. I sugest you start getting ready with another bank statement when they ask you
