I´m a PR currently living with my parents and my husband in Canada. I want to sponsor him for residency but right now I´m having some health problems and I´m unemployed. Will Canadian Immigration allow me to sponsor him when I don´t have a job? I don´t have any of the tax forms they request with the application since I´ve only been here four months and only worked a couple of weeks.

no financial requirements (in reply to: help! sponsoring spouse with no job) although you are asked about $$$, the regulations do not require financial capabalities to sponsor a spouse. that is not 100% true though, they want to make sure you are not on welfare or getting government assitance. if you are for a disability, that is ok, as long as you provide evidence.
but you don´t have to have a job.

(in reply to: help! sponsoring spouse with no job) still you will need to provide option C or have Revenue Canada write a letter stating you do not have one due to the time of your arrival to Canada. Either way, option C or that letter IS A MUST.
