I plan to look for a smaller place - where I can balance life and work. I plan to teach for a year or so before I decide to continue education or decide a line of work.

Can you suggest some immigrant friendly small places? I´d like to be in driving distance (2 hours) of a big city like Toronto etc.

well...first of all u need to find a job as a teacher....which i m sure is really hard to get......if u are a new immigrant and u dont have much experience in canada.......so think abt getting a job and then see what u can do...........at the same time get ready for long term unemployment and an expensive life in Canada as well.......i was as excited as u are now and its been 8 months already , i have no job in this country.........Good Luck to you......
