I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my FBI Fingerprints (US, Wisconsin) after 8 weeks of waiting---HOWEVER, I was getting so anxious to finish and send my application that I emailed this address (mih@leo.gov) to express my concern about the wait and ask about the status and they asked me what my deadline was. I had no REAL deadline except that I had been waiting for so long and wanted to finally send my application, but I told them my deadline was one week later and they sent my Clearances by that date. -- Just wanted to pass this along for anyone who wants to get things moving!

Yes, I also am at the 8 week mark waiting for FBI clearance. I emailed Mih@leo.gov yesterday asking for status as I´d like to send this to CIC as soon as possible. Mih@leo.gov said I should have mentioned a deadline at the beginning. I responded if I knew it would take longer than 8 weeks I would have.
Was then informed that it´s too late to add a deadline but results would be completed and sent in another week. They said they´re extremely backlogged - that´s why the delay is longer than usual. Must be all of us applicants here processing at the same time!
