Hi monty, sorry not to be of any help, but, if you wouldn´t mind why do you think they are asking for those letters? didn´t you submit them before?
Interested cause I´m on a work permit aswell and it would be a pain in the neck to have to go to Mexico just to get them a couple of letters. Can´t they ask us to mail them??? Geeez!!

Hope it works out for you, good luck.

Employment letter is critical for SW immigration.
We don?t have choice but to provide what they asked.
I had to do the same thing.
Good luck

Hi anonymous,
Did you have to submit it at the time of applying and later as well?

I too had same experience. I submitted at the time of application. Got IA with interview waiver and asked me to submit the letter from current employer including my activities since 1996 (I am with the employer since that year). Submitted and did medicals, still waiting for PPR.

I am almost in the same boat. I did my medical in April and my e-status still shows "in process". The did ask me the letter for "permanent employement", I am also on work-permit.

When did you have your medicals ? I got the interview waived as well. Can they call me for intv even after medicals ? Does it take more time in these cases ??

Thanks Anonym..., I guess I´ll have to make up my mind that I might have to go down there for the interview if required, was hoping that because of having the work permit there wasn´t a big chance of an interview request. Going to far tough, I just applied last month.

Now, how about medicals? were you guys asked to do new medical checks after the initial ones required for the work permit?? Thats in case that you had to do it, I did so I´m wondering if they will ask for another set of tests. Any ideas?

Best regards.
Javier
