  Dear Sharon
I have read some of the threads and have noticed that you help and have lots of info...Can you help me please
Timeline:
Applied - sept 2004
AOR - Jan 2005
IA - June 2005 received med forms with this asking me not to do the medicals till they schedule us a interview date.
IELTS submitted
Then silence, waiting , waiting, anxiously!Even the estatus has not changed says In Process
Please can you tell me what the delay could be? What if it is lost in mail? I have applied from Buffalo and am Indian Nationality
Please help me.

waiting is terrible and for that you have my total sympathy. it is hard to continue your life normally with such a big decision hanging over your head.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what could possibly be causing your delay beyond sheer volume of applicants.

Keep the faith, since all looks good in your case, I am sure they will send in the interview letter soon. Well, as you might be aware with the delays these days in getting US GC, most of the H1B holders have applied for Canada PR; this has put an unexpected burden on the Canada immigration offices in the USA. Stay tight you will hear from them soon.

Immidiately get the CAIPS report and try to find what is written in your file. That way you can avoid costly mistakes and make more bright chances for positive repsonse from CIC.
