Finger Print verification for spouse also?

Subject: Finger Print verification for spouse also?
Could someone clarify if finger prints verification is only required for the principal applicant or the spouse is required to submit one too?? (application is joint of course).

You can go to the FBI site by searching google and they´ll explain the procedure. Request expedited service, give the date you need the prints back, and put that date in the letter and on the envelope you send, which will save you weeks getting the stuff back. You basically need to go to the police dept in your area and they´ll do the prints and you send them with enclosed letter giving information about yourself to FBI (address on web site or on CIC web site). Request a letter from the police in your area stating that you and your spouse have no record which enclose when you send the finger print cards returned by the FBI to the CIC.
It´s $18 each, I believe, in certified check to FBI.
