| Subject: Medical Done and Sent by DHL question |

Hi guys;
my wife and I did our meds during the second week of May 06 , the medical center in Miami told us that they sent our meds to Ottawa by DHL, as I paid for it, yesterday May 25th 06. First, how can I make sure that the package sent by this med. clinic to ottawa is mine; yes i can check the DHL that the pack is delivered but note that the pack is sent from the Med. Clinic Address to Ottawa and it does not include my name on the pack. They might take the money and send the stuff by any other courier "USPS" then gave me the DHL # of any other guy who is doing the same thing and keep the difference of $$ in their pockets.
Can I call Ottawa medical office to make sure that it was deleiverd on time?? if so whats their number?

P.S: DO NOT DO UR MEDS IN MIAMI... THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO NO PROF.. I HAD TO FOLLOW EVERY SINGLE THING WITH THEM AND AGAIN IM NOT SURE IF THEY USED DHL OR NOT!..

I disagree with previous post. Given the potential for mistakes and flaws of any communication, it deosn´t hurt to verify everything´s working. Afterall, a lot of time, effort and expense from every applicant is involved, let alone life change event is in progress.
I would contact the consulate or Buffalo (depending who´s processing the application) by email and ask if it´s possible to get a verification that the medicals ave been received by CIC.

My medical report sent to Ottawa on Feb 10 2006
Ottawa received on Feb 24 2006 (I checked with the Tracking number USPS)
Now LA office couldn´t find my medical

Sorry for that Pagla: now did u contacted Ottawa!! thats why im asking these medical centers are a big mistake!
i called ottawa but as usuall message and NOTHIN!!
don`t know what to do.. I have the number

I talked to the doctor?s office; they told me they will send an inquiry fax to Ottawa.
Doctor?s office also told me that normally Ottawa doesn?t reply to the inquiry fax.
Anonymous, ask your doctor for the Tracking number, so that you can track the package. At least you will have the proof.

It says clear in the forms CIC sent you, your doctor MUST write down your name, consulate, visa number, etc on the outside of the package. If your doctor sent it via DHL, just track the package all the way to Ottawa

Guys, I have heard that although Ottawa does not answer the phone, if you leave a polite mesage with brief info, they will call you back. Don´t expect them to answer immediately. So, try leaving a message, and let us know what happens.
