| Subject: FBI Background Check |
It has been more than 2 months since i filed for FBI background check and havent heard from FBI yet. I sent them an email and got a reply saying, they have a new system to do the background check so its taking longer than expected. Any one in the same boat ?

When I did mine in spring of 2005, it took 8 or 9 weeks and that was under NORMAL circumstances. I´ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
