I am going to do for Canada immigration. Before I need clarification of my education level which is vital part for getting pointage for immigration purpose. I contacted to Canada immigration office in Canada, they suggested me to contact your nearest for complete clarification.
my details of education as below please look ?.
After I passed Bachelor Degree in Science (B.Sc.), I passed two professional qualifications such as
(1)*A.I.I.Ceram by Exam under INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CERAMICS, CALCUTTA, INDIA (is equivalent to B.Tech in ceramics, recognized by Govt of India, notification no- F.9-1/95-TS/IV) , examination passed in 1996 , duration (1993-1996)3 years
(2)* AIC by Exam under INSTITUTION OF CHEMIST (INDIA), CALCUTTA, INDIA (is equivalent to M.Sc in chemistry, recognized by Govt of India) , examination passed in 1995 , duration ? 1994-1995 (2 years)
Professional Qualifications for both : Not regular courses but to appear for examination for theories, practical and viva.
Eligibility criteria for above courses -after two year since graduation, chemistry as main subject are eligible to register and sit for examinations .
No. of papers need complete for above both educations ?for No-1 (16 papers) and for No-2 (8 papers)
Experience ? Now I am working in SAUDIARABIA , have experience about 12 years in the field of analytical chemistry, suitable for NOC No- 2211or 2112 categories for Canada immigration.
Proffesional Membership- LIFE MEMBER OF INDIAN CERAMIC SOCIETY in year 2003.
MY QUESTIONS ARE?
1. both educations are recognized for immigrations or not ?
2. if yes , then what is my level of education for secure point for immigration ?

yes you will get 25 points for your eduction if you have completed 18 years of education ,

no, unless he obtained PhD, because DIPLOMA AND YEARS COUNT, not just years

You will get fewer points than all these people expected ... they will only consider your Bsc. degree if that is from a highly known, good university , throw the other certificates or diplomas into the bin becasue they do not give a shit what you have done in India, because CIC is aware of the fact that you can easily BUY any diploma in India.. ..
The number of years and your degree are very closely related and assessed together. The length of your education is important depending on your BA, or MA or PhD,otherwise, if you are a failure and get a BA after 10 years in a university together with your primary and secondary education your number of years would be more than 20, but this doesnt mean you will get the highest point....

I agree with you Anon, you can buy any sort of diploma in India, I know this, my friends boyfriend did it to get into the UK. It came back to bite him on the ass tho.
