| Subject: Applying Skilled Immigrant |

Hi! I will already push through with my application to Canada. I am just a bit unclear with the Skilled immigrant status. I want to bring with me my parents and an older (42) sister. Can I bring them right away if I have proof of sufficient funds or will they fall under family sponsorship?
If they will fall under sponsorship (meaning later years), is there another way I could bring them with me? I hope anyone in the forum can give advice. Thank you.

First you should mention which country you are from. That depends on several points. Are you a PR or do you think that will happen some time soon. Go to www.sponsoryourparents.ca and you will see that all PR or CDN Citz. who wish to spnsor their parents have to wait 28 months for themselves to be accepted as a sponsor let alone anything else. Sister is a no go unless she has some skills that could be in major need in Canada.
