| Subject: When Police Clearance required? |

I think CIC made an mistake in asking for police clearance for a country I lived in 20+ years ago. Official CIC police clearance instructions say clearance is required from persons for all countries where they lived in the past 10 years.
Can anyone confirm if clearance is not normally requested for countries lived in more than 10 yeras ago?

required in all countries you lived for 6 months continuously AND past the age of 18, irrespectively how long ago.
