Subject: Question regarding Processing Time
Hello All, I have a question regarding the processing time of immigration application in Buffalo.

I am currently working in Canada for a permanent position. My work permit will be still valid for about one and half year. I am just wondering, how long it gonna take to apply immigration (Skilled Worker, applying at Buffalo) based on my case, I mean from the date of sending application package to the date of receiving the immigration visa. Assume all documents submitted are correct and complete.

Really appreciate your help. Good luck to everyone!

Keep 1 year for IA ( initial assesment )
Plus 6 months to 1 year for other formalties till you get yr medicals/background check/visa stamped.
To be safe 2 year in total.

That´s too bad. "2 year" means I have to re-new my work permit. I heard of that arranged employment can speed up the processing around 1 year, is that ture?

Check out all PNP programs from all visa posts they average only 8 months!!!! EIGHT MONTHS to complete half of them.

What are your occupational skills?

You can go to any province for an interview while in Canada get a full time offer of employment pick up your PROVINCIAL NOMINEE CERTIFICATE and apply. Some visa posts is 2 months to complete 80% of applicants.

Once approved and Landed you are covered by Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and NO ONE can tell you where to live.

THERE IS A BETTER WAY. ONLY MANAGERS OR BUSINESS PERSONS OUTSIDE OF CANADA SHOULD USE THE ECONOMIC STREAM OF NSNP!!!!!

you have options galore.
