If having applied for Permanent Residence (SW) with destination (as noted when applying) a partcular province, can you then change your mind and move to a different province once the PR visa is given? Are you tied to your stated destination province when moving to Canada?
(I know Quebec may be an exception since it has its own immigration policies and procedures. But I´m addressing all other provinces.)

who cares (in reply to: Destination change for PR) u may land anywhere but at a port of entry in Quebec. once u r landed you can even move to quebec.
when u land u must give an address anywere in canada beside quebec.
destination change is not an issue... don´t bug immigration about that becaus ethey are back logged as it is

(in reply to: Destination change for PR) Ok, thanks WTF. I didn´t intend to bug CIC with this question, that´s why I bugged this forum! Altho it would have been a legit question.

(in reply to: Destination change for PR) Follow-up question:
After landing, can you give your friend´s address until you find a permanent address in Canada? I can imagine landing in Canada and living in temporary quarters until settling at a permanent residence.
Thanks.
