Calling the CIC centre is the most frustrating experience... they contradict each other, and some have no clue of new policies - the longer you stay on the phone the more rude they get too.

Any chance to talk to someone in person??? I live in Calgary. Thanks

Being a Former Senior Immigration Officer in the days you could walk in and talk to someone I understand your frustrations.

The problem now is most Inland offices are now called CBSA which are removal units. The people on the counter are low ranking and have nothing to do with most applications.

Then if you get an Inland office you will likely get only the receptionist who will have to talk to you.

I know 25 St. Clair Avenue in Toronto has some people that will talk to you but no others in the GTA has anyone to speak to you.

email me your questions direct and I´ll answer them for free.

Roy, the worst parts will be Buffalo, really frustrating me, you know what? no reply, refuse to answer any questions, no way to communicate. MP might be my only way to go.

I do not understand why person like me, working full time in Canada, 22% paycheck into income tax, can not be informed my case status. How hard is that???

Applied: Nov, 2004, Buffalo skilled worker
AOR: March 09,2005
NO IA , NO TRANSFER.

Post-graduated work permit, full-time unionlized ,telecommunication technical suppport.

How hard is to verify my employer? there are 7000 employees in Canada work for them

Dep Bay if you are in canada and paying such amount of tax, you are making good money and must be living good. Why don´t you let the immigration do its job at their own pace and you go about your life as usual? You can continue to live, earn and improve your life and let them send you when they are done reviewing or get to your application. I am sure they queued your application and will look at it in time.
