(in reply to: funds for skilled worked) they need to appear in her bank account for a reasonable amount of time and if CIC should ask... you need to show that it is not a loan.

Sharon (in reply to: funds for skilled worked) Thanks for your reply about ´proof of fund using 401k´, you asked me if the fund is cashable, I think if i pay some panalty on tax, it is cashable.
But in reality i don´t want to cash out, i just want to provide some kind of documents to show i have enough money same as bank account.
What does ´liquidated´ mean?

(in reply to: funds for skilled worked) I included my 401 plus bank acct as proof of assets; you could probably also include stuff like real estate property, etc.

(in reply to: funds for skilled worked) you are going to need to land with cash in your pocket to live on or CIC will turn you around and send you home. showing money in the bank back home means nothing to CIC. they want to be sure you can support yourself when you arrive until you are working and get your first paycheck.
how you do that - really does not matter as long as it is not borrowed.
