| Subject: How long the decision will be made after interview |

Hi,
I attended the interview at LA office on Mar 14th 2006. Visa officer requested some more documents to support my employment that kind of stuf. They have given me 1 month time to send the letters. I sent the documents on Apr 10th 2006. Please tell me how long it will take to make the final decision. (I already submitted the medicals and everything.)

Kv. would you please share your timeline? Did you do medicals before or after interview at LA? When did they start processing your application?, When did you get interview letter? How long did it take to get interview date? How did the interview go?. Do you know the reason they asked you for an interview? Are you in Canada or US? Did you file alone or with family?
Your info would be much appreciated by MANY including myself.
To assist you with your question, The answer might depend on some of the above info. For example, if you submitted medicals after interview, it would take a few weeks For Ottawa to assess the results, and forward the info to LA. Also, LA may or may not not have completed your background check.

We received finally a reply on Dec 12,2005,that we had to send them passport and our visas only would be valid till Feb 1,2006,because of validity date of our medicals.We had only a month to leave,but we managed to do it successfully.Now we are in Canada:)
So after a interview in June,we got our visas in December and landed in Canada in January.You have to wait patiently.You can also contact your immigrant officer directly,as we did,he/she can give you some orientation information.Keep waiting.Good luck

To whom it may concern;
We would like to have a query for the process of the permanent resident and spousal sponsorship application.
My wife who’s in Toronto receives the letter for interview to be conducted on August 9, 2012 in Canada for her permanent resident application. Please help me to clarify the below query as we applied for me as spousal sponsorship.
1. May we know that how long will it be for her to get the result of the interview.
2. What will happen to my application which I submitted to your office here in Abu Dhabi.
3. If the result of her interview is positive, do you still request for me an interview as well in Abu Dhabi? And if that will be the case, how long as well do I get the result of the interview?
4. If the decision has been made and its approved for her, does this means that my application also is approved? Or separately approval will be done?
5. If I got approved, How long can I stay still here in Abu Dhabi after the approval has been granted for me? Can I stay at least 6 months more here?
