| Subject: Can i show US $ as fund while first time landing ? |

Hi Friends,
I am going to land canada for first time as i have got Canada Immigration Visa. I will be leaving from USA and will go there and will be returned after one day to get PR. So that in future i can go there if i plan for the same.
Now my question is as we have to show some amount as funds with us while landing first time, something about 10,000 $, i m planning to take Cashier Cheque of 10,000 USD. So will it be ok if i take 10,000 USD or only Canadian dollars are allowed to show ? What else documents are required to show while first time landing on immigration ?

Hi I dont know much about the landing procedure but I would assume that US currency is acceptable. No worries.

US currency is just fine.
Remember the conversion amount, to just tell the immigration officer.

Can i know what is the minimum amount i need to show there ?
I think its 10,000 $ but i m not sure.
Can anyone please tell me what is the minimum amount ?
