| Subject: Error on CPR |

I have received our PP + CPR today and found an error (Citizenship) on my wife´s CPR. What should I do now? a) Send back again? OR b) Fly Detroit-consulate by myself for correction on the same day? OR c) First land to Canada and send for correction to Ottowa?
Please let me know your experience and also let me the consequences?

I have the same problem...mistake in my wife´s COPR. But I called at CIC call center (get on CIC website). They told me you can let that know to the officer at port of entry.
Also read COPR cover letter carefully. It says if there is mistake in name, D/B, country of birth and citizenship country, then we need to fax them back with corrections.

Hey Sandeep,
Thanx man! I rememeber you have just moved to Canada...right? So what did you do in this case? Report at the port of entry or faxed them? By the way, I don´t see about "fax" on my cover letter, but to send them back only for corrctions.
Besides, in your opinion, what should be the best choice?

I am in canada applicant and haven´t landed officially yet. But I am gonna correct these things at the port of entry.
My cover letter does say whatever I have given above. In your case if its mistake in Country of Citizenship then you have no other option but fax them back the corrections. You can find fax # on u IA letter.

As per my knowledge, no you can not..why dnt u call at CIC call center? You might get something that u r looking for!!

Hi,
I just received my passport back with a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CPR) document. April10-2014
However, I noticed that the "Last name" field is wrong . I don´t know what to do can you please sent me amentment office mailing address in Ottawa
I want to make sure everything is correct in the CPR document before I actually go to the border and "land".
I don´t no how many months cic get for processing and I found a address in Ottawa i don´t no which one is correct ( amentment to record of landing
Query response center cic,Ottawa ,Ontario ,k1A1L1) there is one more address I found in IMM 5688 form it´s make me confuse
please advice me what am i supposed to do now? And which one is the right address for amentment office Ottawa Thank you....
