Subject: Permanent Employement + Medicals..URGENT
I had applied for PR in Feb 2005 and was in Canada till Dec 2005 on WP and then went back to india. I came back to Canada again in March 06.

I had received a letter from CIC (in March) to submit my medicals and a letter of referenc from my employer stating permanent employement in Canada.

I had my medicals last week and doc would be sending the reports next week to Ottawa so everything is done at that end?!

But the next thing is that they had asked me to provide a letter from my employer about permanent employment?and in case I can´t provide the reference letter, I should explain them why can´t I provide that..

Also they´re asking my T4 forms and pay stubs ?I can send them the T4 form but as I was in india in last 3-4 months(dec to Mar) I don´t have pay stubs for that period so should I just send thm the T4 form or should I wait for next pay stubs and send them those ??

I can´t get a reference letter from my employer?Even I hadn´t mentioned that I have a permanent job here ..so don´t know why they´re asking for that? What should I do in that scenario..?? I mean should I epxlian that I´m not an emloyee of Canadian company and Canadian company is just our client while I´m an employee of an indian company ?? and I am in Canada on WP only ?? Would that harm anything ??

Please help me out...

thanks

Don´t worry Mani. Just send them a letter explaining you situation. That you left for India and then came back again. As for the employer letter, just get one from your work stating how may years you´ve worked there, what you get paid and what benefits you get and so on. Also have them state what sort of job it is....permanent, part-time, contract and so on and make sure to include dates of when you started and to when you job ends. The reason CIC probably asked for a permanent job letter is because it´s probably the standard sentence they use in their initial assessment letter. Unless of course you told them that you had a permanent job offer.....but it sounds like you did not tell them that.

As for your pay stubs, just send them what you have and explain in your cover letter that since you went back to India you don´t have pay stubs for the last couple of months. Just send them the previous 3 month´s pay stubs before you left or something like that. Make sure to also send a photocopy of whatever permit you are in Canada with right now...work permit or study permit of whatever.

Oh ya...since you are working for an Indian company....make sure you get a reference letter from your supervisor in Canada as well as a employment contract letter from him.
