Subject: application - how to present/how much 'proof'
Hi there, anyone have any advice on how to present our sponsorship application and application for permanent residency? Do they like it bound in a binder? or make it easy for them to take it apart if neccessary?

Also, how detailed should our ´proof´ be? I have everything from emails, phone bills, train and plane tickets, hotel bills, ticket stubbs for entry to parks, etc. I could put everything in, but our application would be 3 inches thick!

We also just got married last week, and I am trying to get my name changed on everything as quickly as possible so I can apply to sponsor my husband ASAP. Does my name need to be changed over on everything before we apply? I was thinking it would be easier to understand if my name is the same on everything, but I also want to apply now!

Thank you!

send in EVERYTHING! it´s never too much!!

i changed my name on whatever i could in the short time i had before sending in my application so go for it!! It will just further proove your relationship!

And many of us have sent in applications 3 inches thick so no worries there!

Good Luck!

My application was 5 pounds....... and DO NOT bind it in a binder...use a big paper clip. It says right in the application papers about binding it.
Good luck....the name chasnge will help your cause but not changing did not hurt our cause. My wife kept her name just to speed up the process. She can change it at another time.
