Subject: CAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WORK BEFORE GRADUATION |

Hello everybody,
I need an advice from INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS studying in Canada.
My question is:
Can international student start working full time before graduation if he/she gets the job offer based on the previous undergradute degree?
I was informed from international student office at my university that international students can start working only once they graduate. In other words, upon graduation they have 90 days to find a job relevant to their field of studies in Canada.
However, I do not see a reason why should not a student start working before.
International students, please share your opinions with me.
Thanks!

or part time off campus (in reply to: CAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WORK BEFORE GRADUATION) this depends where you study.
new program may allow you to work off campus part time. check with the university´s international students office and the cic webpage (www.cic.gc.ca)

(in reply to: CAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WORK BEFORE GRADUATION) Well, Your study permit will have lots of restriction, and what you are thinking of giving up the course and finding a job is not easy, as you need work permit sponsor who can grt hrsdc approval as well, officers will not understand why u gave up the course
