(in reply to: Looking for sucess stories) why cares so much about others? They have negative experience didn´t mean you will have the similiar too.
The most important thing is how you can adjust to the new life here in Canada

(in reply to: Looking for sucess stories) Yeah departure bay is right... Their good and positive experience doesn´t mean you will have the same either...
The most important thing is 90 % how CANADIANS WILL TREAT YOU, 10 % your commonwealth education, experience (they prefer British, American and Aussie ones of course)qualifications, communicational and personal skills....
Just my personal experience....

(in reply to: Looking for sucess stories) if you are young, you wanna work, there are a lot of jobs. As long as you start cash flow, adjust your mental is more important than adjust others.
I am not PR yet, I just came to Canada for about 4 years. I work different jobs here in Canada. I can tell you, your education is not essential, attitude is the most important thing!
U know what? I was a truck driver last summer, and when I was a college student I did my internship in Lake Louise as a server, 5 bucks tip per table is nothing for us!! 200 dollars tips every night back at 2003´s money.
You wanna work, you get hired. no bullshit. just work, no complain, in fact, truck driver is really good money
