the medical costs vary with diff doctors i believe but average itz about 125 to 150 euros....hey nilofar did u apply from germany? is ur application thru? kindly let me know ur timelines and there is a very good thread going on in another forum kindly visit that

I did mine in Duesseldorf last month, i had to pay 201 euros
panna are u sure of the 100 to 150 euros?

The german health conzept is quite difficult. If you got a job you are in a so called obligation insurabce. That means half of the insurance is payed by your employer the other part is pyed by you - it goes straight away of your payment. If you have to go to the doc you only have to pay 10 euro in a quater of the year. Medication is about 5 euro per medication by prescription all the others you have to pay all by yourself. If you haven?t got a job you can use a private insurance about 500 euro monthly (first class treatment) depends what kind of insurance you do there are cheaper ones as well.

Hi Everyone,
I applied from Berlin.
My timeline:
APP:Dec 2004
AOR:Jan 2005
Interview Waiver Recieved Feb 2006,
Medicals Completed Feb 2006.
Total time from App till Medicals has been 1Year,2 Months.
Iam waiting for the letter from them in which they will ask me for my Passport.
Does anyone know how long does it take to get the letter once you have completed the Medicals
My Medical Results are fine, They told me on the phone last week (April 2006) but couldnt tell me when they can send me the letter.The Refused to even speculate.
