Hello,
HAs anyone applied from Canada as an international student recently?
I am interested in the time frame, IELTS request from CIC.
I have less that 2 years of working experience, my research assistantship is not counted as full time job. I have 65 points whenI did preliminary test.
I am expecting to graduate from Canadian University next year.
If anyone has aaplied from the PR as an international student and claimed anticipated date of graduation, did CIC ask for proof of graduation.
Please share your experiences with me.

I have applied as an international graduate student, but I have not claimed anticipated graduation. They did not ask me for IETLS. We applied in Dec04 and got AOR in March05 and IA in Feb06.
How do you know that your research assistantship is not counted as full time job?

What is AOR and IA?
Did you get your PR?
Did you have 67 points on evaluation test?
Could you give me the deatils of your background so I could compare with mine.
Did you apply only yourself?
I am working part time as research assistant.
I do not think that it is counted as full time job.
I already have year of previou working experience..

I wanted to say that if I graduate in Canada I will have additional points and only then I will qualify for immigration.
At the time of application did you already have 67 points or you were in the same position as me.

I have applied with my spouse and he brings additional points to the application. We did not receive PR yet. We just did our medical exams and we´ll probably wait another year for PR.
