I got my CAIPS notes yesterday. They are doing my background check right now. The BFD date is march 3, 2007. My question is, if my background check finishes before march 3..will they issue the medical docs right away or they will wait till march 3 because that is the bring forward date. I read that BFD date only takes into account if no update occurs on my file before that..I am a Singapore Applicant...Please help.

Peter, what is your status there in Singapore and why do you think your background check is taking so long? How many countries have you been up until Singapore? Does your CAIPS say "FILE BF´D TO 09-03-2006" or something else, I´ve read BFD means "file forwarded to"

BFD means "Bring Forward Date"
