if you are a permanent resident of canada, can you travel to cuba or european islands without a visa? and if you are departing from canada or us?

Hiya Dika,
To visit Cuba please get detailed information from the Cuban embassy...and if you are thinking of going there never miss it... went there and loved the pride of Cubans with their limited resources ....and Castro of ocurse... great place never miss it ...
Fopr other countries again the best place to get detailed information is the embassies of the countries that you want to visit, but in almost all countries in Europe canadian citizens do not have to get a visa but instead they just pay some amount of landing fee while landing in any country and this fee changes from place to place ( between 5 CAD and 50 CADs)

As far as I know until you are a canadian citizen you still need to recieve viza to enter any country except your country of citizenship. Or check if this country has agreement with the country of entry.

Virtually all visitors need a Cuban visa or tourist card. The card allows a maximum stay of 90 days for Canadians and 30 days for citizens of other countries. Tourist cards are available from travel agencies, airlines and the Cuban consulate (Toronto & Montreal).
And as Olga stated earlier, until you are a Canadian citizen you will still travel as if you were from your home country.
