| Subject: Should I submit my ROLF at this point |
I have gone through medical on 18 March 2006. My friend has told me that I should deposit my ROLF which is refundable. Should I doposit my ROLF now or wait for leter from CHC in this regard

You might want to wait until the government decides if and when they will reduce it or until you get a letter requesting it. I believe you can even pay it when you land, so I don´t think it will slow things down.

Dear Sohai,
I do not know if you can pay it during landing...becuase CIC request you to pay before the visa is stamped on your PP.
However, if you´re not in a hurry, wait for CIC to request you to pay. Otherwise, I´ll suggest you ... go ahead and pay for it. That way you´ll save at least 1 to 2 months processing time period before you visa will be stamped.

sohai,
i faced the same question. but i waited for a letter from CHC asking for RPRF ( previously ROLF ). i just got letter yesterday asking for RPRF. but, i read in this forum in previous posts that one can pay RPRF although it isn´t demand.
