| Subject: Request of Document after 3 months of applying |

I applied for Canada Immigration in Dec. 2005 and the Application Receive Date was December 29th 2005. On March 28th 2006 I received an email from my lawyer following is a partial content:
".........Our office has received correspondence from the Canadian Consulate General in BUFFALO with a request that you provide additional documentation. Please find a scanned version of the Consulate General´s correspondence attached to this email message as an Adobe PDF, labelled "Document Request." Read the letter carefully for instructions regarding what is being requested of you.
..........."
and following says on the document from Consulate General in BUFFALO:
".........The material you provided as proof of your language ability in English does not support the level of
proficiency indicated on your application. Consequently, you are being given the opportunity to undergo
and submit the results of a Third Party Language Test from a designated organization......"
I am going to take a test but I have a question how come on one side they says your file won´t be opened for Nine months and on the other hand you get a request after 3 months, does it really means my file has been opened. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks

there is early review that heps them screen aplications.
who is ur lawyer? I think I have a feeling I know by the text yo posted :)

Yes they are good lawyers. I did quite a bit of serach before going with them.
