I am plaiing to drive my car across niagra border. DO you think I willface any problem from US immigration side. Please share any information you may have. Thanks.

(in reply to: Landing in Canada, out of status in USA) You won´t have this worry if you simply renew your legal status in the US.

(in reply to: Landing in Canada, out of status in USA) Why would you get in touch with the US guys? when leaving the Estates?...

(in reply to: Landing in Canada, out of status in USA) You shouldn´t have any problem, because you are leaving US.
You don?t have to talk to US immigration unless you want to.

(in reply to: Landing in Canada, out of status in USA) Yes, you can drive right through the US side. If they were to question you, they would be pleased that you are leaving because you are out of status--but avoid alerting them to this because you might want to get a new US visa some time in the future.
The only hassle is getting into the US, not leaving it.
