Hi Boss,

I completed the landing process last weekend. It was smooth. 10 minute process. I didn´t have a US visa. The US immigration officer just took a small form and filled it out with the name, nationality and birth date. I crossed the bridge back to Canadian immigration and in a couple of minutes the process is over. I didn´t use the bank statement as they didn´t want to see it.

The port of entry was St. Stephens. I forgot to even look at that piece of paper i got from the US side. The moment i got that paper, i turned around and the came back to the Canadian side to complete the process. Also with strong wind, i was careful not to lose the documents over the bridge into the water. This is one of the very few places where immigration dept works 24x7. So landing process could be completed even on sundays and nights.

Hi pillai,
Was this st.stephens is in niagara falls USA. I experienced the same story of heavy winds when i came back to canada and for a moment thought that my papers would fall into niagara falls.
Its important that you know what paper the US officer gave you. For me he gave "refusal of entry letter". I hope thats not the case with you.

If you din´t have the passport stamped with refusal note I thought it didn´t matter.

Hi Boss,

St. Stephen is in New Brunswick. I am not sure about the paper the US side gave me. It was a small white
form. I am not too concerned about the slip they gave me. It was just a paper work, didn´t seem to use enter that into the database. On the other hand i came across a person with Canadian passport being refused entry to US, fingerprinted and photographed and added to their database. So unless the reason for visit is believable,
it doesn´t matter what passport you have, the US side could still refuse entry.

Also the US side didn´t stamp or write anything on the passport.
