Subject: Canada immigration process for earthquake victims
Well I have few questions regarding immigration process for the victims of earthquake. Actually I have a friend who basically belongs from the area (Pakistani Kashmir) that is badly hit in the recent October 8 earthquake. He is 23 years old guy done his software engineering now doing a job in Pakistan. This earthquake also causes massive damage to him including relatives, colleagues and his 2 houses. Now he wants to take advantage of Canadian new immigration relaxation process for the earthquake victims. But the problem is that he doesn?t have any blood relation in Canada, though he has few colleagues, friends and other peoples that can easily sponsor him. But in the policy given in the official website saying that only those people can take advantage of this process, whose blood relation is already a citizen of Canada and he should sponsor him. So kindly tell me what should he do? He really wanted to apply for this procedure, should he go ahead to ask his colleague or friends to sponsor him or he is not eligible for this new immigration process for the earthquake victims.

Your response will be highly appreciated.

Thank you!!

TOM

the fast track program was for those already involved in sponsorship applications. I do not believe there is any program available for individuals that were displaced by the earthquake.

I am afraid this will not be a solution to his very desperate situation. I am sorry.

Dear ambassador
I am one of the earthquake victim of Nepal . mostly gorkha , sindhupalchowk, Kathmandu , bhaktapur ,ramechhap etc badly affected due to the massive earthquake. I am from ramechhap district and it is near with the border of Sindhupalchowk which is affected badly . Houses are totally destroyed and my family are taking shelter by making a small cottage to continue their daily activities . We had a loss of cattle which are the source of income . Our land also getting big crack and we are unable to utilize it . The Nepal government has provide earthquake victim identity card to us and also provide some foods and some money to continue or to fulfill the daily needs . Other non- governmental organization also helped us some daily needs in the small amount . Many of the peoples are affected by the eqrthquake which I never faced or feel such kind of massive disaster. I want to work in your country . I ama the student of English literature and journalism. I have passed bachelor degree . so please think positive and reply the email .

Your sincerely
