| Subject: Work Permit and PR for Visa Student |

I want to know if I am able to apply for work permit after my graduation from university, I am a visa student from China. My situation is that I was arrested and got off with a "conditional discharge" I am also serving a 1 year probation. I want to apply for work permit after my probation is finished. Will this have any effect on my application for a work permit? All in all, will this effect my situations? will this leave a black mark on my application for work permit and future PR.

"You may not be permitted to enter Canada if you have a criminal conviction, including a conviction for driving while impaired. Find out more about inadmissibility to Canada."

thanku for your reply. i just wanna clarify that i got a conditional discharge not conviction. hope there is a different procedure for that.
