| Subject: Medical Test Results |

Hi All,
I have a quick question. I found out my medical results were posted to OTTAWA last week on 9th (received by ottawa office). Since my file is with LosAngeles office does any one have any idea how long is it going to take for them to send results over to LA office. Any precise idea is appreciated. Thanks.

as far as i know, Ottawa will not send any physical documentations to LA or Buffalo, once your medical results have been examined/approved by related personnel in buffalo, they will upload this information into their system where LA will have access to it. You can find this information in your caips report. My medical was done in May 05 and the result was uploaded in Aug 05. Hope this helps.

mine is similar. I would expect a response within 3 months. But, people reported as short as 1 month and as long as 1 year. So, we will wait and see how it turns out.

Thanks for the information. My interview was in Dec 2005 and they have given me 3 months of time to submit all the medicals/PCC/fee. If the medicals itself takes 3 months to upload how can they give such a short time. Can i do anything now or do i need to do anything to speed up the process. I talked to the doctors office in StLouis and they said they can send a COPY of medical assessment tests to LA office. Will that be helpful. Please advice.

I suppose that 3-month deadline is only for submission. It should not include the processing time in Ottawa. So, you don´t need to worry. Ow, nobody would be able to satisfy that 3-month deadline.

Thanks for the answer. That gives me a lot of strength. I was breaking my head what to do and stuff. Now i think i will have to relax a bit. Since i am submitting all my fees/pcc this week i should be fine. Thanks once again. I appreciate it.

Hey SAM,
Normally it takes 30 to 45 days after you sent ur medicals. But as so many guys got reply from Ottawa saying that they need more than 8 week to transfer / electronically send the results to Buf / LA office.

Phone 613-941-2170 in Ottawa. Message should be left. Lady will call you back if your results are ready. I suggest it has to be done after a period of waiting (see messages above).
