I´ve got the approval from Buffalo 2 weeks ago and now I´m waiting for the passports to come back with the Canadian visa.
I live in Indianapolis,Indiana and I´m planing to move in Vancouver,BC.(long way to drive-almost 2500 miles!!!)
In order to move all the stuff I have in U.S. I have to rent a trailer(a pulling trailer ,not a truck).
I need some info regarding the landing and border procedures:which port of entry has less traffic;which time of the day is better to arrive;the border officials will inspect the traier(will I have to unload and load back all the stuff I´ll have at that time);which lane should I take when between USA and Canada-cars or trucks(my lawyers sent me some info regarding this stuff and they sayed that I´ll be in a lot of trouble if I´ll take the wrong lane-to go back in the U.S. and change the lanes will need the joint approval of both U.S. and Canadian authorities)
Please ,I need an answer from somebody who allready passed through all this stuff.

You might want to visit this link:

then on that link, from the menu on the left click the map so you will see which custom you are more likely to pass...once you know the name of the customs, you can call them to ask which US custom to go, the Canadian border officers know which US customs you should pass...they will give you their number.
about the trailers....no idea if they wll inspect it or not...just label your goods list and box properly to make your life easier during inspection (if there will be one).
