Subject: urgent help! RCMP f.p.check(timeline included)
I applied for fingerprint check without the informing from Consulate. My fingerprint check file was created in the RCMP system on Nov.17,2005. Since I got the transfer letter on Feb.15,2006, so I emailed RCMP and asked them to send my check record to Seattle while not the previous address (Buffalo). However, they responsed that my result had been sent out to Buffalo in the week of Jan.20,2006. Yesterday, I got the IA and also let me submit my fingerprint check result within 30 days. It seems that my check result isn´t in Seattle.

I emailed to Buffalo, but no response till now. I´m very worried about where my fingerprint check result is. Maybe it is lying in the Buffalo garbage bin. Do I need to do another fingerprint? But I´m afraid the available time is not enough for me.

Your responses are extremely welcome.

My timeline(issued date while not post date):
APP: Feb.17,2005
AOR: Mar.22,2005
Trans.:Feb.3,2006
IA&ME:Feb.25,2006

who told you to request a police certificate from Canada before you are instructed to do so by a Buffalo visa office !!! don´t do things like that on your own !!!

don´t worry about where is the fingerprint check result because it will not be accepted any way and as you said maybe it is lying in the Buffalo garbage bin. the instructions are very clear about this issue:

Application for Permanent Residence ?Skilled Worker? Visa Office Specific Instructions

Appendix B
Obtaining Police Certificates/Clearances

" Certain police authorities have special procedures for obtaining police certificates/clearances. They are the
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Royal Hong Kong Police (RHKP). Do not request a police certificate from Hong Kong or Canada until you are instructed to do so by a visa office. Further instructions for obtaining a police certificate of no record from these authorities will be sent to you along with your assessment letter from the Regional Program Centre (Buffalo) and medical forms."

yes need to do another fingerprint and if you really care about the time do it as soon as possible

good luck

Since Consulate only give me 30 days for fingerprint check, but RCMP claims that it will take in exceed of 150 days, so I think I´ll not have enough time to finish it after getting the request letter.

Maybe I need to do another one.

thanks!

Hello
Some other posters have suggested to include the deadline given by the consulate to submit your police clearance together with all your other info (name, DOB, fax, phone number, ect ect etc), that´ll make the RCMP process it faster. Hope that helps.
