Subject: ADDING NEW BORN CHILD
  Hi Friends,
I need some information regarding ADDING NEW BORN CHILD. Our PR stamping (for Federal worker class) done in our passports two weeks back. But not yet landed. We are expecting a child in a MONTH, and it is not possible to land before new child birth. Please some one tell us how to add a new kid before landing. We have 3 MORE MONTHS TIME for landing (PR expires after 3 months).

Please..... help us.
Regards,
Sudhakar.

you have to land before your child birth or your visa becomes invalid

Based on my limited knowledge, you can land and later on sponsor your wife. But I think must be living in canada during the period sponsorship application is pending. Why not land now? Where are you right now?

Thanks again,
We are in US. My wife can not travel now (DUE TO PREGNANCY) and I don´t have a valid VISA to come back to US.I have valid I-797 and I-94 (VISA expired). Is it possible to come back with I-797 &I-94 within 2 weeks?

Please help me.
Thanks,
Sudhakar.

I am 100% sure that you can come back with valid I-797 and I-94 as long as you dont apply for US visa in canada. If you apply it must be approved but you dont need to. This law applies if you go to canada for less than 30 days. It is called automatic revalidation. It also applied to travel to mexico too. I think you just need a day to land and for SIN. Do you mind providing ur e-mail, I am filing next week, just want to make sure everything I am doing is ok.

I am still wondering How she did medicals if she is so close to delivery? When did you do medicals?

Hi can_imm,
Sorry for the late reply. We did our medicals in Jun 2005. My mail id is kr_kradha@yahoo.com.

Are you sure about that, My VISA will become invlaid if new dependant comes (even though, he is a non accompanying family member)

Is there any place where I can find more info on this.
Talking to an attorney will be helpful?

Thanks,
Sudhakar.

I saw similar case on britishexpats.com few months back. Thats where I read. Get a legal opinion. Is there a law that your wife cant land if she is pregnant? If not and if you live close to canadian border, just drive.

Have you updated out your wife PREGNANCY after medical and before Visa stamping to consulate and any reaction from consulate?

Read your PPR paper clearly or overseas operation manual.
