Subject: Can Pets& Plants be accompanied?
  Hello everyone,

well from many days i was just wondering can our pets and plants accompany us? like if i have a dog or cat or when i have love birds is it possible? to taken them too? and some very beautiful bonsai plants(i just cannot leave them)...can they be taken with us(or do we need to file another application for them too) kindly suggest

It appears you can´t take anything in with soil and roots so it´s bye bye bonai...

As for pets - depends where you´re from. You can import love birds, the rules are here: http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/anima/heasan/import/birds_othere.shtml

I think you need to sponsor them after you land as PR in Canada lol

For dogs and cats, I think you just need to prove rabies shots are up to date.
