Hi
I have landed in Calgary, Canada without any problem in Jan 2006. The Immigration guys at Calgary were fantastic and very friendly.
Things went smooth and I did not face much of a problem.
I have been on this forum and it helped me lot when I was waiting for landing papers.

I have a question about the Goods to Follow list. Most of the stuff I am talking over are things that I have owned for a while now. When you have to put in the value do have to put in an approx. value of the goods around the time of preparing the list or the original purchase price?

My time lines are as follows.
Applied in AUG 2003
File No. recd DEC 2003.
updated proof of funds and PCC request DEC 2004
Medicals & ROLF request in April 2005
Medicals and ROLF submitted June 2005
Passport request in Aug 2005
Visa Stamped Oct 2005
Landed in Canada Jan 2006
I applied at CHC London and I was residing at Dubai.
In the things to follow list the approx cost may be mentioned.
Customs inspected the items that I brought into Canada but they did not see the list of items that I brought nor endorsed it even though I produced it to them.
You need to declare the funds that you bring in to Canada.
