I have heard that if you attend the seminar held by the Canadian consulates ABOUT IMMIGRATION BENEFITS FOR SKILLED WORKERS , they give a letter which when attached with our application helps to get the immigration process completed faster than the usual time.
Is it true ?
NOTE:These seminars are held in Canadian consulates in US,

You guys sure are idiots that are frustrated with your situations I guess . It was just a question that needed a simple reply. Just shows how frustrated and desparate you both are .
Well anyways best of luck to both of you .
And yes the question still stands for people who have any real information on this.

I heard the same thing about the seminar and i attended it.
My application was received on June 16, 05 and i did my medicals on September 20th, 05

They have waived my interview and i am awaiting further correspondance from their end.

FYI - I had a few friends who went to the seminar last time and they told me that those certificates have been discontinued but the seminar is on.

It is hard to belive about those certificates. Sam, if you can attend one of these seminars, do it and use the letter/certicate. There is no harm trying.
