Subject: Sending Passports for visa stamping to London
  Dear Friends,

Please advise if the passports can be sent in person to London. My friend works and live in London so I was thinking of sending my passports via courier to his address and requesting him to go in person and getring the visas stamped on our passports and then he could courier it back to me.

Will the high commission entertain him and stamp the passports and return to him soon or will the process take long.

The other option is by sending via dhl prepaid visa pack service which I believe may take longer (2-4 weeks approx)

Any insight/advice on the above shall be highly appreciated.

Note: I applied under SW category and I´m expecting my PPR anytime now.
Just preparing for the final countdown......

Good Luck and thanks for any input.

I´d send them GPO Special delivery. Secure and 24 hour delivery guarantee.
Anyway, time is not an issue right? I mean, you´ve waited long enough to get the Visas ;-)

Would be faster if you send it to your friend and have him get the visa stamped. I know they let you do it at buffalo but don´t know about london. You have to draft out a letter authorizing your friend for it and get it notarized by your lawyer.
Hope this helps!
