*Mailing passports*....Iam in the same situation. Iam not sure which country you are from. But it is illegal to mail an Indian passport overseas. Iam not sure if the same applies to your country. In my case Iam in the US and my visa post is New Delhi, India.

I have sent the passports through a friend who is carrying an authorization letter and the same person should bring it back too if the consulate sends the passport on time.

we are in China now and from HK. it´s not a problem to send passports outside China but the UPS here doesn´t offer any prepaid services.

do you know anybody in HK.....any friends, relatives...anybody......you can put their address as a passports return address....HK consulate will send the passports to local address through first class postal service and then your friend etc. can send you the passports through FEDEX etc.....but its all a risky game.....i would suggest if one of u could go to HK and get the passports stamped and come back......or you should talk to consulate and get their view......if they accept any credit card to send u the passports through fedex or ups.....good luck

You must have a Canadian or US address for the CIC Buffalo to send you documents. Just send your passports to Buffalo thru FEDEX and wait for Buffalo send your passport back by regular mail.
