Hi guys,
I got a Quebec selection certificate back in June ´05 and applied for visa at Buffalo at the end of August (at which point I also sent completed police certificates). I did my medicals at the beginning of October ´05. I have not heard from Buffalo since they first instructed me to get medicals (late September) and my e-CAS shows "In Process".
Does this sound normal, or should I bug them with emails, etc?

I also got the CSQ, applied to buffalo on June 2005, sent payment and done the medicals on august 05, still "in process" I have sent an email to buffalo during Oct. 05 and they have replied that they are doing the background check. I will probably wait for 6months after the medical until I send them another email. from CIC´s website; Buffalo´s average processing time for CSQ applicants is between 6 to 8 months.

I APPLIED FOR CSQ JANUARY 1, 2006. I AM IN USA AND I APPLIED TO QUEBEC OFFICE IN MONTREAL. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET THE CSQ APPROVAL?

I waited 10 months from application to interview for CSQ, where I got the certificate, but I did have to send extra documents, which probably delayed it a month or two. Last year, their office was in New York, where I had my interview.

application date" by return email..VERY STRANGE REPLY Inspite of HAVING ALREADY GOT the IA and Medicals..
Did 3 emails and 2 faxes again to B´fallo to recheck about their reply but No response, it seems they have gone off to sleep...
With CIC being really slow or not reposnding at all to our queries, lets keep updated with this thread about whatz happening at CIC for CSQ applicants who applied in May/June´2005...
