Subject: Employment Insurance
CIC-V received my application June 24 - processing Aug 10. I am on a post graduate work permit. Can I travel since the kids and I have the work permit and visitor permits. I was refused at Buffalo back in 2000 because I didnt have enough points at the time and they didnt do the same sex thing. Now I have the points (graduated from a 2 year college) and have lived with my partner for 3 years. Think are chances are better this time? Also - when we applied we proved funds, record of employment, great letter from her Employer, all that stuff. Recently one of the kids in my partners group home hung herself so she is on leave and placed on EI. We still have a great income but do we have to now inform them of this change - and will this now interfer?
