they will transfer your file first to the place where u asked the interview to be held, like detroit , la, seatle... and after that it takes around 7 months .

did they specify the reason ? what does your e-cas show ?

thanks

First thing you should do is order your CAIPS notes. Visit www.caipsnotes.com or www.caips.ca for more details.

Have they told you where you are going to be interviewed?

which letter has the latest date? it seems rather odd to have your passport requested when there is still outstanding CIC issues.

I would fax them/write them and request clarification.

Please don´t panic. It may not be a big deal after all. Here are the links to some of the mostly asked interview questions.

Family sponsor class

What buffalo seeks may be some clarifications of your background info. Go over your application materials and look for areas where further clarifications are needed. Don´t worry. I have seen posts where some applicants went to the interview and got their immigration visa on the spot. So your interview date may be your lucky day ! Please calm down.

Before I start replying to your response, I will ask some foundamental questions.
1. Which country are u initially from
2. have you travelled outside US within the period your application was being handled.
3. Was there an area of security (Maybe background information or whether you´ve been involved in a military government or have worked for a government office before u came to the present country etc.
If you can answer these questions, I may be able to help with some answers, send a mail to me at Esadjig@yahoo.co.uk
good luck.

Here´s what I´d do

Simply follow the first letter and send PP for stamping. If they indeed need interview, they will send it back.

I think the 2nd letter is in error.

Keep fingers crossed and best of luck!
