Hi,
I got similar response but it was said 49 weeks. But the funny thing is that I am a CSQ applicant. My initial assesment was already done on 3rd August´2005.
I had applied to Buffalo after getting my CSQ ( Certificate de Selection du Quebec- Skilled Worker Category)on 7th June´2005 from Montreal, Quebec.
I got my AOR on July 13´2005. I got my Medical Forms along with a letter stating that initial assessment has been completed and personal interview has been waived off on dated August 3rd 2005. Also I was asked to send PCC to Buffalo.
I got my medicals done on August 9th´2005 and sent PCC to Buffalo same day. My medicals were sent to Buffalo from Qttawa Medical Processing Centre on 23rd Sep´2005.
Now the reply that I get on 17th Jan´2006 says "Your file is in queue for initial assessment which could take up to 49 weeks from application date".
I really dont know when the initial assessment has already been done why my file is in queue for the same again!!
There is definately something wrong with this. God know how reliable these replies are!!
